The 065-7210 series of switches allows redundant path fiber extension to small workgroups and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) clusters with automatic failover. These switches support a complete SNMP management and monitoring package to safely extend management capabilities and advanced internetworking features over fiber to workgroups, smaller campus buildings, and production or control machinery equipped with PLCs at Fast Ethernet speeds.
